Last year's floods in Derna, #Libya resulted in a water and sanitation crisis affecting 400,000 people. Our water, sanitation and hygiene teams have been working to help these communities recover since storm struck. In addition to providing clean water and other essential support, our teams focus on decreasing the risk of diseases caused by reduced access to clean water, basic sanitation and hygiene as a result of the floods. With support from UNICEF, we conducted more than 750 hygiene awareness sessions on the importance of safe water, handwashing and more.
