  • Your CRM does 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 when you integrate it with the other applications that fuel your business. And your team? They do 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 when automation frees them of tedious tasks. It's a win-win situation. Are you ready to unlock the power of AppConnect? ⚡️

  • We all know the saying, “Data doesn’t lie,” but here’s the secret not many people realize... Data 𝙘𝙖𝙣 and 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 mislead—maybe not on purpose (I don’t think it’s sentient) but by accident all the time. On that note: Hey, LinkedIn! Cheyenne Griffith here, Insightly's Head of Sales Enablement. I'm taking over Insightly's page today to talk about something I love...(you guessed it) data. 📊 Following data threads in Insightly CRM is a fun part of my job. Some high-level metrics I stay attuned to are: • TTC (Time to Close)  • ACV (Average Contract Value)  • Discounting (average reduction in price for our deals)  • Pipeline/Forecasting (how much $ can we expect to close)  • Win Rates (% of opportunities worked that are closed/won) These are the metrics that your leadership team cares about—the things that ultimately predict whether or not a sales team will meet its goals and attain its quota. 👉 In Sales Enablement, we call these “lagging metrics.” For me, these metrics highlight problems or areas for improvement, but they don’t tell me HOW to fix things. 👉 For that, I seek “leading metrics.” Metrics that “lead to” these high-level outcomes. I’m lucky that Insightly allows me access to data like: • SNEs (% of the opps with a Scheduled Next Event)  • STL (Speed to Lead - how quickly we connect with new leads)  • Time in Stage (how long our opps spend in each sales cycle stage)  • Lead Source Conversion Rates (which types of leads become opps at the highest clip) AND SO MANY MORE! At the end of the day, I get to figure out how to solve problems and help my team succeed. Understanding what 𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙨 lagging metrics to suffer (or improve!) is absolutely essential to the success of our entire sales organization, and it is legitimately FUN! Fellow data nerds, what metrics are you tracking? How do you use them to drive outcomes?

  • Sellers, are you doing this during discovery? Invite correction and input from your buyers by sharing common industry challenges you hear from other leaders. 💡 The question: "In this role, I talk to {your industry} leaders all day long. They tell me about their heartburn around problems A, B, and C. How much of that sounds like your world & what did I miss?" The goal: Open communication and more valuable insights from your prospects. ------- Tune in to Closing Time every week for more tips from industry experts like 👩🏻🏫 Krysten Conner. #closingtime #discovery #b2bsales

  • Your CRM knows more about your business than you do — are you leveraging the data it holds to make informed decisions? CRM reports turn raw data into a goldmine of insights. • Sellers: Are you bubble hunting on the weekends? 🫧 (You should be!) The executives you're targetting have busy work weeks, which is why Samantha McKenna and her team at #samsales Consulting recommend outreach during off-peak hours or the weekend. The goal: send thoughtful nurture messages when your prospects are active on LinkedIn and more receptive. Right timing #SMYKM = greater chances of a reply

  • To gate or not gate content? 🗝️ It's the great debate for today's B2B marketers. With 70-80% of the buyer's journey now self-guided, a balance must be struck between consumer preferences for a frictionless experience and marketing's need to capture valuable customer data. Anthony Kennada isn't anti-ungated content. Rather, he sees high-value exclusive (gated) content as the pathway to building an owned, first-party relationship with your audience. ------- Join Anthony this week on Closing Time to learn his 80/20 rule for content and how his company, AudiencePlus, is helping marketers build, engage, and convert owned audiences.
