Business Insider has discovered that one of the most powerful tools in marketing isn’t actually a physical tool at all. It’s optimism. Our latest global study, “The Power of Optimism: Positive Outlooks, Profitable Outcomes,” surveyed more than 3,600 consumers to explore the role of optimism in advertising, brand perception, and media consumption. The findings are clear: optimism builds consumer trust and drives consideration among media consumers. Book a meeting with BI Head of Consumer Research & Insights Cayley Barlowe Arbitsman for a full walkthrough of the research by emailing [email protected]. #ThoughtLeadership #Insights

As a heavy user of the new Business Insider AI Search tool, I can vouch -- it's excellent! An easy way to find all of BI's great coverage. Hat's off to CTO Harry Hope & team. It's the latest example of the invaluable tech-forward mindset at BI and our owner Axel Springer. Check it out at the top of our home page.

How does Amazon Ads help brands engage audiences throughout the day? A golden retriever might have the answer. In keeping with Business Insider's new tagline, “Business journalism doesn’t have to be boring. Neither do your ads,” Insider Studios collaborated with Amazon Ads to create a first-to-market interactive video experience with an unexpected star: Tucker the fun-loving golden retriever. “An Advertising Tail” invites viewers to help Tucker navigate his busy day. Along the way, they can interact with hotspots to explore the many Amazon Ads touchpoints that can help brands reach their audiences where they shop, read, listen, and watch. I remember in my early days as a new leader asking myself what makes a good leader and how can I be a good leader for the team. My thoughts resulted in my leadership purpose, which is creating an environment where people can grow, do their very best work, and achieve ambitious goals whilst feeling valued, recognized and respected. Over the years, I’ve seen some of the best leaders thrive in these types of environments when they are curious, courageous, collaborative and kind. I’m extremely thankful to work alongside the most amazing colleagues at Citi who show these leadership qualities every day and have made my first 6 months in this role very special. Thank you to Business Insider for the opportunity to share my advice with aspiring marketing leaders.
Earlier this year, Citi named Alex Craddock its chief marketing and content officer. Here's the advice he'd give to aspiring marketing leaders.
4 things that have helped me be successful, according to Citi CMO Alex Craddock

After months in the making, I'm excited to share a first-of-its-kind interactive video we just launched with Business Insider: An Advertising Tail. From the beginning we set out to do something a little different (and to have some fun with it!). Taking the perspective of an (adorable) dog, Tucker and his owner, the video is a choose-your-own-adventure that highlights some of the many Amazon Ads properties consumers engage with throughout their day. The team thought through every detail from the dog DJ on Twitch to the adorable on box ads. A project like this requires months of work and input from MANY stakeholders, and it couldn't have been done without Deirdre Emery leading the way with Deirdre Buckingham. Thanks to the amazing Insider, Inc. Studios team for bringing our vision to life and to many people across our team, but especially Robert Norman, Marcellus Neel, Rachel Lauritzen Shelton, and Carly Zipp Garbis. Check it out:
