Grooming Argentina, our hotline of the month for November was created in 2014, following the criminalisation of grooming in national legislation. From the start, it recognised the urgent need for targeted prevention and intervention, becoming the first Latin American organisation specifically addressing grooming. Their mission goes beyond awareness and reporting– they are dedicated to directly supporting victims and their families. The team consists of professionals and volunteers offering practical support and ongoing assistance to those affected by grooming. As part of their educational efforts, in collaboration with X (formerly Twitter) the organisation launched an informative guide for Latin American families and communities, where they cover everything they need to know about grooming. INHOPE is the leading global network of 54 hotlines in 50 countries combating online Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
About us
INHOPE is the leading global network combatting online Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). The Network consists of 54 hotlines in 50 countries (as of January 2024) that provide the public with a way to anonymously report illegal content online with a focus on CSAM. Reports are reviewed by content analysts who classify the illegality of the material, which is then shared with local Law Enforcement Agencies and a notice and takedown order is sent to the relevant Hosting Provider. We support hotlines and their partner organisations through training, setting high quality standards and best practices for hotline operations, and ensuring staff welfare. We provide the hotline network with a secure platform called ICCAM that facilitates the exchange of CSAM reports between hotlines and INTERPOL. INHOPE promotes legislative and policy developments that support our vision of an internet free from CSAM. INHOPE is based in the Netherlands and our member hotlines operate across six continents: Africa, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe, North and South America. In a borderless digital world CSAM has global consequences and as its distribution grows so do our efforts. This is only possible with the support and funding from the European Commission, Safe Online, NEO Philanthropy Foundation and INHOPE’s corporate partners. Join us in the fight!

No one should have to deal with the fear of private images being leaked. It is a tough situation, but the key is knowing how to handle it and how to protect yourself moving forward. This is easier said than done, especially for young people, who may feel overwhelmed or ashamed. However, it's essential to remember that no one is ever to blame for the violation of their privacy. We can play a crucial role in breaking down the harmful stigma that can make people feel isolated. By offering support, understanding, and resources, we empower them to regain control of the situation. Today, attendees from 44 hotlines joined us in Amsterdam for the bi-annual Members Meeting, a key event that allows us to gather in-person and provide a forum for member input. • We kicked it off by looking back at the 2022-2024 strategic plan, examining the key target outcomes, which will serve as a base for our future strategy discussions tomorrow. • Then we opened the floor to members to talk about and inform the development of our donor assessment policy and our guiding principles. • The conversation continued in an interactive workshop where our members exchanged views, experiences and best practices on key obstacles and priorities regarding advocacy work for global legislative change. • Last but not least, we presented the CPORT portal and highlighted the effectiveness of the tool in bridging gaps between sectors. As we close off the day, we’d like to thank everyone for their valuable insights and we’re looking forward to welcoming you tomorrow to our Annual General Meeting where we will vote on the new INHOPE board and network members.
