On May 23, Infinera’s Bangalore office buzzed with the joyous sounds of over 100 children as we celebrated Take Our Kids to Work Day. This year's event witnessed the highest turnout ever, with children of our colleagues, aged 6 to 12, transforming our office into a lively playground. The day kicked off with an enthusiastic office tour, where the kids explored the workplace with wide-eyed wonder. Following the tour, they were divided into groups to participate in a series of engaging games, organized by our spirited volunteers. The office echoed with laughter and cheers as the children danced to music and eagerly hunted for hidden treasures. Lunchtime was a delightful feast featuring a variety of their favorite foods, including pasta, pizza, cakes, and shakes. The delicious meal provided a perfect break for the kids to refuel for a captivating balloon art show that left the kids mesmerized. To double their joy, the kids were awarded prizes for the games and given bags full of goodies. As the eventful day came to a close, the volunteers and the kids gathered for priceless pictures. The children left with tattoos on their wrists, smiles on their faces, and a promise to return next year with the same boundless energy.
