🌍🔋 INEOS Energy Denmark at the Democratic Festival on Energy 2024⚡ On September 20-21, INEOS Energy Denmark had the pleasure of participating in the Danish Democratic Festival on Energy, Denmark's national debate on the future of energy, environment, and climate.   We had insightful discussions with attendees about our two strategic focus areas:   1. Delivering the necessary energy during the green transition 2. Our ambition to be a frontrunner in carbon capture and storage (CCS)   One of the highlights was engaging with hundreds of school students who took part in our competition, answering questions about European energy supply and CCS for the chance to win a signed jersey from Danish striker Rasmus Højlund from Manchester United! ⚽👏   It was inspiring to connect with so many passionate individuals—especially the next generation—about the energy challenges and opportunities of the future.   #INEOSEnergy #GreenTransition #CCS #SustainableFuture #EnergyDebate #EnergiensFolkemøde 

Safety is the overarching principle for all we do in INEOS. But a very high level of safety is not something that comes easily - it takes a lot of work to create the right mindset and a safety culture. Safety ambassadors that set the direction are an important part. In INEOS Energy we are lucky to have such ambassadors. One of them Heidi Gaardbo, SHE and Competency Advisor in our Esbjerg office has recently had the great honour to be nominated for the Danish Offshore Safety Award 2024 with the following motivation: “Heidi is always going the extra mile for safety. Heidi is a visible driving force in the Occupational Health & Safety organisation in INEOS Energy. She is always available and approachable for all colleagues, on- and offshore, both in relation to her daily job and if a colleague needs a piece of advice or has any concern. Heidi is a believer of the incident-free mindset. Not only at work, but she also has the courage to intervene if something unsafe is observed outside working hours - nothing goes by unattended.” A well deserved recognition of Heidi and her dedication to safety.

🏃♂️ INEOS Energy, Virum Shines at the DHL Run! 🏃♀️ On Monday this week, the INEOS Energy, Virum team laced up their running shoes and participated in the DHL Run, showcasing our dedication to teamwork and community spirit. 🌟 It was a day filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a lot of fun as we ran together, supported each other, and celebrated our shared goals. Whether it was crossing the finish line or cheering each other on from the sidelines, the team spirit was truly inspiring! 💪 This event exemplifies one of our core values: ‘Challenge.’ It brings us together and demands the best from us. It gets us out of bed in the morning, gives us purpose, and shows us what we are capable of. Yesterday, we proved once again that when we push our limits, we unlock our true potential. 🚀 A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made the day a success. 🌟 We recently said goodbye to four brilliant interns: Saimon, Daniella, Luis, and Reezah, who spent a month working with us at INEOS Energy UK. This internship was organized in partnership with Career Ready, a social mobility charity who we’ve worked with for a number of years. Career Ready connects employers with young people, providing mentoring, internship, and workplace visit opportunities. Their aim is to boost social mobility and empower young people to put their talents to use in the workplace. It was an incredible learning experience for all of our interns. The feedback from our interns speaks volumes about the impact of this program: 🗣️ “INEOS was a really supportive environment, and the Operations and Commercial Teams provided me with so many learning opportunities.” 🗣️ “I had the opportunity to create a website, reports, and a web app during my time with the Subsurface Team.” 🗣️ “I’ve gained so much experience that will help me in the future: I’ve learned how to build working relationships, identified my strengths, and even reconsidered what I want to study after college.” 🗣️ “This internship has been an amazing opportunity. Celebrating Team Spirit at the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge 🌟🏃♂️🏆 Last week, the INEOS Energy team proudly participated in the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge, an event that encompasses work, wellness, and bonding among colleagues. It was a fantastic opportunity to socialise outside the workplace while promoting a healthy lifestyle. A special thank you to our Grenadier team for graciously allowing one of our team to join them on the 4th of July as they couldn’t compete on 3rd July. 🚢🌍 Exciting News! 🌍🚢 Last year INEOS and the partners behind the Project Greensand Demonstration Pilot demonstrated as a Worlds First that CO2 can be transported across borders to be stored safely and efficiently in the Nini West reservoir to mitigate climate change. Since transportation will form a crucial part of establishing the full value chain of carbon capture and storage in the future, Project Greensand has in connection with the demonstration phase investigated requirements for future dedicated CO2 carriers. We are thrilled to announce that DNV - Maritime has granted Approval in Principle (AiP) for the LCO2 Carrier storage tanks, marking a significant milestone in INEOS's journey towards developing a 12,500 m³ LCO2 Carrier concept for the Greensand project. This innovative carrier is designed to efficiently transport CO2 in the medium pressure range from an onshore hub to an offshore location, where it will be directly injected at high pressure into depleted oil and gas reservoirs. A special shout-out to the talented ship designers at KNUD E. HANSEN, who have developed the CO2 storage tank as a C-type tank. By utilizing a new steel grade, they've managed to reduce the overall wall thickness of the tank, cutting down manufacturing costs and significantly lowering the CO2 footprint.
