Team Member Spotlight: CRISTINA KENNEDY HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR Meet Cristina Kennedy, Human Resources Administrator. Cristina has been a member of Indy Honeycomb since April, 2023. Cristina graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and is currently working on her master’s in project management and operations and becoming SHRM certified. Cristina’s most recent experience is working at Humana as a project manager, and before that she was a process improvement specialist and supervisor for St. Elizabeth for almost 10 years. As the HR specialist, Cristina works to build long standing relationships with the employees at Indy Honeycomb, facilitate recruiting and hiring, onboarding and orientation process. She also manages HR systems, provides HR support with managing records, handbooks, etc. and manages events. Outside of work, Cristina enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and 3 dogs. She enjoys traveling, being with friends and family and playing/coaching volleyball. Indy Honeycomb’s mission is to make honeycomb easy to buy. Team Member Spotlight: SERGIY PAPYSHEV BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER Sergiy (Serg) Papyshev spearheads Business Development efforts and serves as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries, technical questions, and customer service. He joined Indy Honeycomb in 2005, starting as a machine operator and advancing to the role of engineer before assuming his current position. Serg and his family immigrated to the United States and became naturalized U.S. citizens. Prior to his life in the United States, Serg resided in Kyiv, Ukraine. He earned a Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering from National Aviation University and acquired valuable experience in manufacturing automation and project management at one of Ukraine’s largest corporations. Outside of work Serg enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. Indy Honeycomb’s mission is to make honeycomb easy to buy. Merzuk’s previous experiences in various roles helped shape him for the unique set of challenges he would face as he rose through the manufacturing, supervision, and quality ranks at Indy Honeycomb. As the Quality Manager, Merzuk has established himself to be the go-to guy when it comes to quality, among other things. His dedication to doing the right thing at all times has been beneficial in managing the AS/ISO Certifications and relaying it to employees and customers at all levels.
