Just wrapped up our third all-company meeting since August 2023 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, and let me tell you, spending time in person with the Indigo crew never disappoints! 🙌 28 of us gathered for two days of team bonding, strategic planning for the back half of 2024, and getting pumped for what 2025 has in store. Employee Spotlight!! Excited to introduce Pradyuman Gangan 🚀  🚀  🚀 Prady joined our Data Science team as a Junior Data Scientist in early 2024. When we asked him what it means to be a Data Scientist he was quick to explain that “we look at data from all sorts of angles to solve business problems—running cool math models to get things done. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn’t”. Before joining, Prady connected with Tovio Roberts and was drawn to the culture Tovio was trying to establish. He was excited by the prospect of aiming high and building from scratch in the otherwise unexplored Medical Professional Liability Insurance space. Prady loves reading research papers, learning about new models, and implementing them with our own. “We can make use of new tech and apply it to our ideas. I love exploring new models and making sure we are always learning and growing from the influence of our field,” Prady says. At Indigo, Prady values the high level of trust, autonomy, and creative freedom the organization provides. He appreciates the opportunity to work in an environment where he can grow and make a significant impact. Outside of work, Prady is passionate about football (soccer 😉 ). He grew up playing in India and continues to play in a league in NYC where he is now based. I recently celebrated my first incredible year with Indigo! Employee Spotlight!! Excited to introduce Saúl Vega 🚀🚀🚀 Saúl joined our Product  team as a Senior Product Designer in early 2024. When we asked him what the role of a Designer truly meant he responded with, “think about movies—a product designer is like the writer, and the developers are the actors who bring the script to life,” Saúl explained. To create a compelling product, Saúl emphasizes the importance of knowing the audience (our customers)—what makes them laugh, cry, and ultimately, what meets and exceeds their expectations.. In our team, the PMs and business stakeholders are like directors and producers. Together, we ensure the product hits the mark. “We're constantly pitching ideas to them based on solid research. It's not just opinions; it's backed by data,” Saúl shares. Whether it’s insurance, travel, expense management, or purchasing and selling event tickets, the goal is always to make sure our customers are satisfied with the final product. What brings Saúl the most energy? Seeing a design he created come to life.. “I love seeing how something I envisioned comes to life,” Saúl says. He appreciates how the team collaborates to get this done.  At Indigo, Saúl loves the people and the culture we offer. The appeal of working on something from the ground up in an industry ripe for disruption is significant. “This industry is ready for an injection of technology, and I haven't seen anyone doing anything like this. It's cool to be at the cutting edge,” Saúl adds. He’s thrilled to be making an impact on the healthcare industry through MPL, a necessity in modern health care. Outside of work, Saúl enjoys cycling in the Bay Area and spending time with his dog spaghetti. Thanks for bringing your creativity and passion to the team, Saúl!

At Indigo, we’re proud to be a fully remote team in a world where many companies are continuing to call people back to the office. 🌍✨ Remote work requires focus on a strong culture and an amazing team to ensure we are all working effectively but we also recognize that nothing can replace the value of face to face time to build personal connections. This year, our Sales, Engineering, Data Science, and Product Teams all held offsites across the US where they got to work shoulder to shoulder and spend time solving big problems together. We’re looking forward to bringing everyone at Indigo together in August in Nashville for 2 days of building bridging connections, socializing and of course getting the important problems solved.
