  • Congratulations to US Granules Corp on being named as an inductee for the 2024 Manufacturers Hall of Fame! Founded by John J. Oliver in 1986 and in operation for nearly four decades, U.S. Granules Corporation (USG) is a world-leader in recycling aluminum foil and laminates to produce secondary aluminum granules. USG’s corporate office and plant, located in Plymouth, Indiana, and a second plant in Henrietta, Missouri, comprise the only facilities in North America engaged in this manufacturing process. USG’s extensive experience in recycling and production technology has earned a solid reputation for innovation, expertise, and cost-effectiveness. Secondary aluminum foil granules have proven to be highly competitive as direct replacements for traditionally accepted forms of primary aluminum in many market sectors. Additional applications include the master alloying industry, ferro alloys and thermite, industrial explosives, steel conditioning, and the chemical industry. Since its inception, John J. Oliver and USG have been committed to supporting local organizations in the community including the United Way of Marshall County, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Marshall County, Junior Achievement of Marshall County, the Plymouth Community School Corporation, and the Marshall County Community Foundation to name a few.
