Finoverse is collaborating with InspiringHK Sports Foundation 凝動香港體育基金 for the charity Web3x3 basketball tournament at the upcoming Hong Kong FinTech Week to fund training programs for local kids from underserved communities. The #web3x3 tournament is organised by FTBL | FinTech Basketball League and open to all #FinTech and #Web3 professionals. Every cent raised from corporate team fees and profits from merchandise sales at the #Web3x3 tournament will go directly to the IHKSports programs. The IHKSports is a local charity that kicked off in 2012, aiming to empower youth through sports. They focus on giving equal sports training opportunities to underprivileged kids and those with special educational needs, while also promoting gender equality, social inclusion, and a healthy lifestyle. So far, IHKSports has provided over 510,000 hours of professional sports training to more than 15,800 students and hosted a bunch of educational activities with over 26,100 attendees.
