Congratulations to our friends in BBDO PAKISTAN for a spectacular run over the last 10 years.
10 years ago this month, BBDO Pakistan made history at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. It was the first time Pakistan had won a Lion at the world's most prestigious creative award show, for "Not A Bug Splat." The rise onwards was fast: only a year later, BBDO Pakistan brought home the first Gold Lion won by Pakistan, pictured below, when the national flag was held up on the Palais stage by Ali Rez and Assam Khalid. Since then, BBDO Pakistan has continued to consistently remain the country's most awarded agency, and has brought to the nation many of its firsts: the first Clio, the first Spike, the first One Show pencil, the first D&AD pencil, amongst many others. 2014 marked a distinct new era in Pakistan's advertising history, one that inspired hundreds of creatives in the country to believe that winning on the world's biggest stages was possible. Ten years later, in 2024, BBDO Pakistan is proud to not only have sent the country's first jury member to Cannes Lion, but also to bring home the nation's first Grand Prix for Good.
