Mental health check-in: Which Moo Deng are you feeling like today? 🤔 Internet starlet baby hippo aside, October is Depression and Mental Health Screening Month, and as we approach the often-stressful holiday season and diminishing amount of sunlight, it's important to check in with how you're feeling. 📈 Nationwide, over 15 million adults experience depression each year, a number that has increased since the COVID-19 pandemic. If you're experiencing depression symptoms, it might be time to get screened. Carbondale’s lab team works to ensure accurate testing data for things like biological threat agents, water, dairy, and more. They are also our only lab location that performs STI testing. Their dedication ensures that we can quickly respond to health threats and keep our communities safe. 🔎 Each test performed by the IDPH Division of Laboratories supports our mission to provide accurate surveillance data.
