IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Administrative Committee End-of-Year Meeting Recap - Days 2 and 3 On the second day of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society's end-of-year administrative committee meeting, members engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding the future direction of the society. The day concluded with a dinner, during which the current AP-S president, Branislav Notaros, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all members for their significant contributions to the society. The following day, the committee visited Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, to participate in a panel discussion featuring esteemed leaders from the antennas, propagation, RF, wireless, and electromagnetic industries. This panel focused on strategies for enhancing the society's support for industry professionals and included invaluable feedback from industry leaders on how the society can provide greater value to its members. We appreciate the ongoing commitment and insights from our community as we strive to advance our mission and support our members effectively.

IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Administrative Committee End-of-Year Meeting Recap - Day 1 The IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Administrative Committee convened for its end-of-year meeting in Denver, Colorado, USA, commencing with an early morning tour on Saturday. Over 40 members participated in a guided bus tour through lower Denver, ascending into the scenic landscapes characterized by mesas and the historic Hogback Ridge. The tour's first highlight was a visit to the renowned Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater, an impressive structure developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). As we navigated the winding mountain roads, we observed the preserved cabins that served as accommodations for the CCC. Continuing along the Bear Creek scenic highway, we traversed several picturesque mountain parks in Jefferson County, where we were fortunate to witness the aspen trees transitioning to vibrant shades of yellow, contrasting beautifully with the dark evergreen forests. Our next destination was the glacially formed Echo Lake. On our return to Denver, we paused in Idaho Springs for lunch at Beau Jo's, celebrated for its "Mountain Pie," a distinctive Colorado pizza featuring an extra thick crust. Following our meal, we visited Lookout Mountain, where we toured the Buffalo Bill Museum and gravesite. This engaging excursion set a positive tone for the afternoon session of the Administrative Meeting, where many members of the Administrative Committee gathered to discuss the current and future initiatives of our various committees.

[Wideband and High-Efficiency Circularly Polarized Unit-Cell for X and Ka-Band Transmitarrays] Alessandro de Oliveira Cabral Junior, Hamza KAOUACH and André Barka present a novel approach for linear to circular polarization (LP-CP) conversion in transmitarray antennas. The proposed conversion mechanism differs significantly from previous published realizations. The concept utilizes a transmission line modeling-based excitation technique, in which a centralized via excitation is split into two striplines carefully designed to balance excitations and guarantee a phase quadrature. The striplines are embedded at the center of the patch antenna allowing a compact footprint and a simple design structure. The applied true-time delay (TTD) technique assures the radiation of a wideband and low axial ratio circularly polarized (CP) field.
