Business and Technology Transformation Leader - Former Deputy Chief Information Officer at Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSAgov), HHS
It was a great day at ICF yesterday with two American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) events. Discussion with Kevin Duvall, MSMIT, Benjamin Bryant and Stephen Nabinger was nothing but fun, candid, insightful and energizing! Greatly appreciate the trio sharing such complementary insights from pushing the envelop by leveraging AI to streamline and modernize the way acquisitions are done; to being mindful of what are inherently Government functions; to leveraging private sector experience. Cannot thank our panelists enough for such an engaging discussion! Sparked ideas for many more future panels :) Stay tuned everyone... Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Would like to extend special thanks to the ACT IAC HHS FIE team - Priya Dewsbury Mark Hartl April Davis for supporting this initiative! Many thanks to ICF leadership and our fabulous team for supporting and helping make this happen - Terence R. Yetiskin Yetiskin, Sustainable Aviation Manager, ICF SAF Roadmaps are a critical first step to develop national SAF industries, evaluating the benefits, challenges, and providing a vision for stakeholders to unify around. Boeing and ICF have experience with organisations around the world to develop robust roadmaps, including in the UK, Ireland, Japan, UAE, Australia and New Zealand. This is about working locally to scale SAF globally, and this session will discuss the lessons learnt during the development of these roadmaps, the implications from the results, the importance of stakeholder buy-in, and how to make sure future roadmaps build momentum towards a low-carbon aviation industry. Higher insurance rates for homeowners, inflation for groceries, and lost earnings from heat are key economic impacts of climate change. As highlighted by CNBC, we collaborated with Consumer Reports to estimate the lifetime financial burden for an American born in 2024 due to climate-related factors. https://okt.to/LjYr1U

I had the pleasure of participating in a workshop on AI and its utility to environmental public health personnel at the the terrific National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) conference in Pittsburgh yesterday. Along with my ICF colleagues Mary Joyce Schwarz, Kevin Hobbie and Prajakta (Jackie) Bhadange we interacted with the dedicated front-line environmental staff from across the nation who are inspecting water and air quality, ensuring food is safe, responding to climate change and on and on. Examples of how AI is already assisting environmental public health workers are listed below. ICF is assisting public health agencies in tapping the potential that AI offers.

As an American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) Fellow, it’s always a pleasure to support the Partners Program. Today, I was honored to host the 2024 Partners at ICF’s global headquarters with my colleague and this year’s industry vice chair, Jennifer Folsom. For the fourth year, my good friend Jeff Hunt, the world’s leading brand and crisis consultant, is graciously offering his expertise to run tabletop exercises with some of the brightest minds in government and industry on effective crisis response in the digital age, based on his best-selling book “Brand Under Fire.” #actiac #leadershipday #Partners24
