Today is DAY TWO of the 5th Annual IAVM Super Regional Conference in Fort Wayne, Indiana! Thank you to our 150 attendees from across all four participating regions for being a part of the event. Next week, Fort Wayne, Indiana will welcome attendees of the 5th Annual IAVM Super Regional! Region 2 is proud to host this year's conference. In this session, she will share some instances where her brain sent her down a bit of a strange path and some of the tools that she could have used to correct her direction. Mindfulness and Burnout - Dave Johnson: Mindfulness-based practices build resiliency and capacity to meet the challenges of change and stress and enhance one's perspective, personal resiliency, and leadership capacity. This workshop is geared toward professionals desiring personal renewal AND insights into how mindfulness & self-compassion are integral to one's personal self-care and sense of professional & leadership renewal. Bridging the Generational Gap - Whitney Bandemer: Venues today have a diverse range of people working, from the board members to the bartenders. This is significant because there are now five generations working together for the first time in history, leading to unique challenges that affect everyone.
