    Today is DAY TWO of the 5th Annual IAVM Super Regional Conference in Fort Wayne, Indiana! Thank you to our 150 attendees from across all four participating regions for being a part of the event. Thank you also to our phenomenal Allied Members who have sponsored this year's event, along with our inspiring speakers and panelists. The conference will conclude this evening with a night out at the ballpark and suite experience at Parkview Field, home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps!     Last Chance to Register for the 2024 Super Regional Conference! The highly anticipated 5th Annual IAVM Super Regional Conference in Fort Wayne, Indiana is just two weeks away. IAVM Regions 1, 2, 3, & 5 will come together May 19 - 22, at the Grand Wayne Convention Center and the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Keynote Speaker - Anne Wheat will be addressing IAVM attendees with her message titled, "Let Me Tell You About A Time..." Anne has spent a great deal of time studying the effect of cognitive biases and how it can impact our decision-making, self-image, and impression of others in the workplace. In this session, she will share some instances where her brain sent her down a bit of a strange path and some of the tools that she could have used to correct her direction. Mindfulness and Burnout - Dave Johnson: Mindfulness-based practices build resiliency and capacity to meet the challenges of change and stress and enhance one's perspective, personal resiliency, and leadership capacity. This workshop is geared toward professionals desiring personal renewal AND insights into how mindfulness & self-compassion are integral to one's personal self-care and sense of professional & leadership renewal. Bridging the Generational Gap - Whitney Bandemer: Venues today have a diverse range of people working, from the board members to the bartenders. This is significant because there are now five generations working together for the first time in history, leading to unique challenges that affect everyone.
