We are hiring!   Position:              Senior Underground Geologist   The Senior Underground Geologist will bring a strong production, ore and grade control, and reconciliation background to our team’s exciting growth plans, including an aggressive underground and surface exploration program to delineate and expand underground mineral resources and build production. This role supports a proactive safety culture through active engagement in safety initiatives and interactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and training mine geologists in core logging, sampling, mapping, ore and grade control, lead underground drill programs, and work closely with exploration, engineering, operations, administration, other technical staff, and management to develop and update weekly, monthly, 3-month rolling, annual, and life of mine plans. There will be a deliberate focus on growing inventory through defining and testing robust exploration targets in the near-mine environment. Since joining I-80, Jon has been a cornerstone of safety, implementing weekly safety meetings that involve the entire site and contractors.
