After the successful execution of Hydrova’s EPA SBIR Phase I grant, the EPA awarded Hydrova $400,000 for Phase II, with an additional $100,000 commercialization option. Phase II will support the commercialization of Hydrova's DrossZero™ systems. By closing the loop in the aluminum industry, Hydrova is furthering the United States' leadership in advanced recycling technologies. About SBIR: The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program is a highly competitive awards-based program that encourages domestic small businesses to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) with the potential for commercialization. Established by the Small Business Innovation Development Act of 1982, the SBIR program has a mission to support scientific excellence and technological innovation through the investment of Federal research funds in critical American priorities to build a strong national economy. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is one of 11 federal agencies that participate in the SBIR Program.
