Please join us in congratulating David Stiger who is celebrating 16 years with Hydromax USA this week! David joined Hydromax USA in 2008 and has held multiple positions throughout his tenure. Early on he focused on municipal programs before managing the nation’s first cross bore programs, often taking to the field himself to complete the inspection process. He then worked hands on developing equipment and software that could perform at a capacity not yet available in the market and developed many of the best practices still utilized for inspection programs today. His trajectory from project management to industry advancing work as our Senior VP of Technology is one story of career development success that we strive to pursue and repeat throughout our continued growth here at Hydromax USA. It is the true indicator of how dangerous the current levels of heat are for the human body. On hot days, the National Weather Service recommends people drink fluids, stay in cooler rooms, keep out of the sun and check up on relatives and neighbors, especially older people and those who live alone.

Following the successful close of National Safety Month, we are riding the momentum and reinforcing our commitment to safety year-round. HUSA Safety Director, Dustin Smith, joined supervisor, Ron Bruce, in visiting our MSI teams today to review safety precautions such as using gas monitors, following MUTCD standards, fall protection near holes, and guidelines for working in extreme heat conditions. Thank you, Dustin and Ron, as we extend these important reminders to the rest of our teams and community. Remember to stay hydrated, follow safety protocols, and look out for each other!

During a dangerous weather event this past weekend, two members of Hydromax USA’s Cross Bore team were on hand to provide support to Vermont emergency response crews, helping to cordon off dangerous roads and supporting the evacuation of residents to safety. In response to their actions, “VGS is proud to know that one of our contractors has gone way above and beyond expectations to help out our community in crisis,” HUSA joins our partners at Vermont Gas in extending gratitude to our colleagues, Gabe Morgan and Romeo Noble, for their admirable support to the community during this challenging event and their steadfast commitment to safety!
