Our patients are at the center of everything we do. From the first interaction to the last treatment and into survivorship, we recognize we are meeting and caring for people at one of the hardest times in their life. After each appointment, you’ll receive a personalized survey invitation. Your feedback is invaluable—it helps us improve and make a difference. Every comment is read by our director and shared with our team to enhance your care experience. Your comments are also posted online as reviews for our providers. These comments help future patients make informed decisions about their care. Your opinion matters. If you receive a survey, please take a moment to let us know how we're doing. Thank you for helping us grow and serve you better!

"I view the brain as really the organ that really makes life worth living, so to speak. So, it's why we have any emotion, whether it's love, sadness, whatever it may be, but for me, those all signify really the importance and why people want to live, so to speak, and the value of living." Join us for the latest episode of Talks with Docs featuring Dr. Joe Mendez, a dedicated neuro-oncologist. Dr. Mendez shares his journey into this challenging specialty, discusses the complexities of treating brain tumors, and highlights what sets the patient experience here apart.

🎉 Excited to share that I am wrapping up my internship with the Huntsman Cancer Institute Clinical Trials in a few days! 🎉 A huge thank you to Kaitlin Cooley Stephens, MBA, Shantae George, MHA, CCRP, Preston Hammon, Zachary Oberg, and the entire team for their guidance and support! If you were like me, you might not fully grasp the complexity and importance of clinical trials. In just 4 months, I've gained invaluable knowledge and perspective from this incredible team of dedicated individuals. Their commitment to advancing cancer research and patient care is truly inspiring. Clinical cancer trials are crucial for developing new treatments and improving existing ones. These trials involve rigorous testing and monitoring to ensure patient safety and efficacy of new therapies. By participating in clinical trials, patients contribute to research that may lead to breakthroughs in cancer treatment, ultimately benefiting future patients. For anyone looking to do research or be a part of an amazing team of professionals improving healthcare, I would highly recommend the Huntsman Cancer Institute Clinical Trials as the place to work. My time at Huntsman Cancer Institute has opened my eyes to the meticulous work and collaboration required to conduct these trials. From understanding regulatory compliance to tracking adverse events, every detail matters. I've seen firsthand how these efforts contribute to meaningful progress in the fight against cancer. Thank you again to everyone at Huntsman Cancer Institute for this incredible opportunity!

We had the honor of hosting a special tour for our long-time supporters at Nucor Corporation. Every year, they host a golf tournament and gala for their employees, customers, and vendors. Since 2004, their generous donations totaling over $2 million have helped in advancing research and patient care. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and support.

"Sarcoma is a very tough diagnosis. It requires a huge dedication on the part of the patients to go through the treatment regimens that we lay out for them. And being a part of that team with the patient, as well as the other medical providers on the team, is just a wonderful privilege that I do not take for granted and hopefully never will." July is Sarcoma Awareness Month. Dr. John Groundland shares insights on sarcoma, treatment options, and how our dedicated multidisciplinary team ensures the best outcomes for our patients.
