Congratulations to our Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr. Alicia Simoneau, who is celebrating her 15th anniversary with Humane Pennsylvania today! 1️⃣5️⃣🥳 Dr. Simoneau is a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine located in Southern California. Prior to vet school, she attended Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA, attaining a BS in Biology. Her special interests include access to veterinary care initiatives, high-volume spay/neuter, and acupuncture. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors and attending sporting events with her husband and daughters, and relaxing with her adopted Chihuahua, cats, and horse. Earlier this month, Humane Pennsylvania President and CEO, Karel Minor, celebrated his 20th anniversary with the organization, making him the second longest-tenured leader in animal sheltering in Pennsylvania! To recognize this milestone achievement, HPA staff and the board of directors gathered last Thursday for a luncheon celebration in his honor. Introducing Spike & Tilly’s Slobber Lager, a delicious crisp American Lager that is sure to make all dog lovers drool! 🤤🍻 Humane Pennsylvania and Pagoda City Brewing will celebrate the beer’s initial launch this Friday, April 19 from 6 – 8 PM, at the Pagoda City Brewhouse Taproom & Lounge, located at 101 N. Carroll Street in Reading. 🤩 After Friday’s Launch Party, Spike & Tilly’s Slobber Lager will be available at Pagoda City locations and Humane Pennsylvania’s mini Pints for Pups event with Pagoda City Brewing on Saturday, August 3 from 12 – 4 PM!
