JD Vance was named Trump’s running mate for Vice President — and he is an alarming anti-LGBTQ politician. Ahead of his speech at the Republican National Convention, let’s recap his record: opposing marriage equality and abortion, denying protections to LGBTQ people from discrimination, and saying he would have overturned an election. Equality Voters, now is our time. Show up with us and keep hate out of the White House: hrc.im/showup

Ohio grandparents Mike and Melissa have witnessed the devastating harm of anti-trans legislation on their family and transgender grandchild. Mike has been voting Republican for most of his life, but in a political climate where MAGA politicians like Ohio U.S. Senator and Trump’s VP pick J.D. Vance are doubling down on attacking LGBTQ people to score points with their base, he’s changing course. Hear their story: https://lnkd.in/eWkP_jZv

Donald Trump announced Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his running mate for vice president. Vance is a MAGA bully and a Trump-Vance administration would be abysmal for LGBTQ rights and our democracy. J.D. Vance’s retrograde beliefs would revert the progress LGBTQ Americans have made. From attacking the Equality Act, opposing marriage equality, and even supporting a business’s ability to deny services to LGBTQ people, Vance is a direct threat to our freedoms. He is also vehemently anti-abortion and voted against protecting access to IVF. We can’t afford a Trump-Vance administration. We must defend our hard-earned rights, our democracy, and our future: https://hrc.im/showup

Our Deputy Director of Global Business Engagement Carlhey Bolz recently traveled to Sao Paolo, Brazil to celebrate the advancements in workplace equality amongst Brazilian workforces achieved through our collaborative efforts with our implementation partners Instituto Diversidade. She also participated in a panel with Symmy Larrat, the Brazilian National Secretary for the Rights of LGBTQIA People, and spent time meeting with Instituto leadership like Joao Torres and Thiago Guarnieri Roveri, MSc to discuss the exciting future of the Equidade BR program! Learn more about Equidade BR: http://hrc.im/EquidadeBR
#InstitutoMaisDiversidade #LGBTQIA #Inclusao #Diversidade #Pesquisa

July is #BIPOCMentalHealth Month. Our culture, ethnicity, and race can have profound impacts on our mental health, especially for BIPOC communities. This month, and every month, we must work to destigmatize mental health and speak openly about our stories. Mental Health America https://lnkd.in/gaYP2mwX
