At Huma, we’ve made it 10x easier and 10x faster to develop and launch regulated disease management tools. Now, we’re making our platform technology open to all. Meet the Huma Cloud Platform. The Huma Cloud Platform leverages a cloud-agnostic, regulatory-ready software development kit (SDK) that includes a rich library of pre-built modules and device connectivity capabilities, as well as the ability to host and deploy diagnostic and predictive AI/ML models. With simple drag-and-drop functionality, users can configure digital health solutions for any therapeutic area from ready-made templates to develop custom care pathways. Huma is proud to announce the successful completion of our Series D funding round, bringing our total financing to over $300 million. This milestone fuels the launch of the Huma Cloud Platform, a technology ecosystem designed to empower anyone, anywhere to launch and scale AI-enabled digital health tools built from the Huma tech stack. Huma raised over $80m in Series D, with the participation of new and existing strategic and financial investors including AstraZeneca, HAT SGR, Hitachi Ventures and Leaps by Bayer among others. Dr. Juergen Eckhardt, Head of Leaps by Bayer, said: “Pharmaceutical companies need financially and technically efficient digital solutions to minimise spending on efforts that are duplicative or can't scale. The Huma Cloud Platform enables companies to streamline how they bring digital medicine, companion apps, and data collection capabilities to patients from the R&D phase to post-launch.” The Huma Cloud Platform is currently being tested with select customers and a beta version will be made available in the coming months. Huma is committed to delivering digital innovation that can transform the cancer patient experience. We’re immensely proud to announce that Huma has been selected as the winner of the Macmillan Innovation Challenge for our Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) Digital Checklist app, aimed at enhancing the experience of cancer patients and improving clinical workflows. The SACT Digital Checklist makes it easy for patients to share their health information with care teams from the comfort of their homes, enabling clinicians to review this data remotely and determine if patients are ready for medication. The app is designed to increase clinical capacity for delivering treatment, improve the patient experience, and reduce stress for cancer patients. With the support of Macmillan Cancer Support, Health Innovation East, Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber, Health Innovation Kent Surrey Sussex and clinical teams from East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, we hope to make the SACT Digital Checklist available across the NHS. Over 700,000 people worldwide are living with Myasthenia Gravis (MG), a rare neuromuscular disease. In time for #MGAwarenessMonth, Huma is proud to introduce HumaMG, an innovative digital care platform designed specifically to help patients and their care teams monitor and manage the effects of MG. HumaMG makes it easy for patients to track their symptoms, receive timely reminders for their medication, and access educational resources tailored to their condition. Care teams can remotely monitor patient progress, identify potential issues early, and adjust treatments accordingly. We’re proud to be working with people living with MG, patient advocacy groups, and key opinion leaders in the MG space to continually enhance HumaMG, making it even more suited to the unique needs of MG patients and care teams.
