Over the past few days, Hurricane Helene has ripped through five states, leaving many stranded, roads closed, and millions without power. In the Asheville, North Carolina, area, many still needed access to information as the mountain terrain was hit hard by washing out cities, homes, and roads. Allies in Energy has put together an Amazon Wish List of critical supplies for the region. All supplies will be donated and delivered to Hearts with Hands Disaster Relief in Asheville at their warehouse. Thank you for your support for those in need on the ground in North Carolina: https://lnkd.in/gRcFvHD6 Or you may donate financially to: https://lnkd.in/e57q2zzZ

Reflecting on our time at Houston Energy and Climate Week last week, we were thrilled to be an inaugural sponsor of the Week and be part of a dynamic panel discussion! ⚡ Our Senior Government Affairs Associate, Farish Mozley, joined an inspiring lineup of speakers at the Global X Local event, sponsored by PILAS, Women in Cleantech and Sustainability, and Post HTX. Farish represented a North American expert perspective on the energy market, alongside international experts Juliana Garaizar, Yona Starosta, Chude Chike-Obi, PMP, P.E., and Gabriela Fierro. The panel shared insights on #technology, #law, #data analytics, and #market dynamics. Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the conversation on the future of energy, as well as Katie Mehnert, Juliana Garaizar, and Lindsay Roe for organizing such an impactful Week! #HECW24 #HTXenergyclimateweek #renewable #houston #texas #EDPRNA #renewables #energytransition

Sustainability is a mindset. Thanks to Zero Waste Houston - we were able to divert a lot of our waste from last weeks events from the landfill to be composted. Nearly 240 lbs! Our average diversion rate was 92-93 percent! Thanks to Zero Waste Houston and to everyone for thinking about how we can improve next year!
