Congratulations to Horizons Greater Philadelphia for its inaugural Regional Swim Meet on July 25 at La Salle University. Students from Horizons Greater Philadelphia sites Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School, The Episcopal Academy, Greene Street Friends School and Springside Chestnut Hill Academy demonstrated their swimming skills and cheered on their peers. Horizons Greater Philadelphia project-based educational model is designed to fuel a life-long passion for learning, using a blend of high-quality academics with cultural enrichment and confidence-building activities like swimming, arts and sports. Thank you Sarah Keffer, Shonta Robertson and board member Mike Morgan for expert planning and execution of this Horizons Greater Philadelphia initiative. #ExpandingHorizons

This summer, we’re taking swimming to a whole new level! As we cheer on swimmers during the #Olympics, Horizons will be hosting our very own Horizons Swim Spectacular! Students across the country will compete for a spot on the Horizons “Virtual Podium” in events like the 100-freestyle, 50-backstroke, treading, and floating. At the end of the summer, the top 10 finalists will be honored and awarded in a virtual ceremony hosted by Horizons National!
