This is not necessarily a new concept for furniture as the Shakers have been hanging furniture on walls with pegs and cleats since the 1800s. We thought it was time to bring it back. The idea came about from one of our very first designs. We made a coffee table that packed so flat that you could carry the entire thing (legs and everything) under your arm like a surfboard. It got us thinking about ways that we could save space in people’s homes with thoughtful design. What do you think??
