They explored key topics such as the evolution of boardrooms over the years, how boards are currently approaching AI differently from past technological shifts, and the influential roles that N-1 and N-2 leaders can play in boardroom decision-making.   Key insights from their conversation include: - Boards are becoming more diverse and younger, with a growing focus on AI. They are taking an aggressive stance on AI, recognizing it as both an opportunity and an existential threat. - Leaders transitioning to board roles need to become "ambidextrous," adapting to rapidly changing contexts and shifting from an operational to an oversight mindset. - N-1 and N-2 leaders aspiring for a seat at the boardroom table can seek a board member to mentor them.
