    🎉 We did it! Our team just won the recent AI data hackathon! 🎉 After 36 hours of almost non-stop coding (with only 4 hours of sleep the first day), our team— Ondrej, Stano, Maros, Jozef — delivered a fully scalable web/mobile app that recommends nutrition supplements for everyone, including groups like kids and pregnant individuals, backed by insights from 4000 research papers. We built a multi-agent LLM RAG with grounding, and it worked seamlessly! Special shoutouts to: Ondrej Palkoci our cloud expert, for deploying impeccable serverless solutions with speed and precision. Stanislav Hrivnak who showed incredible endurance and problem-solving under pressure. When I was at the lowest, he took my task, finished it quick with high precision. The whole team was in high spirits, and it was a blast coding together. Huge thanks to (GymBeam, Dalibor Cicman, Robert Cizmar) for organizing this perfectly—providing mentors, support, and putting in tremendous effort to make this event unforgettable. Already looking forward to the next hackathons! 🚀

    Even seasoned talent acquisition professionals can fall into common traps in the interview process that may lead to hiring missteps. Here are some interview mistakes and how to avoid them with AI: 👉 Unintentional bias  Even with the best intentions, human bias can creep into interviews. Most of the time it’s unconscious bias, but even if you’re not aware of the bias it can still impact hiring decisions. While not a perfect solution, AI can help reduce human bias by providing a more objective analysis of the interview via transcription and comparing the interview and resume data with the job description and requirements. Of course, human judgment is still needed but AI can help present objective data and remove the burden of analysis to help in the decision-making process. 👉 Over-reliance on “gut feeling”  Intuitions are important, but gut feelings can be misleading in the hiring process. Relying solely on instincts can lead to hiring someone who may feel right in the moment, but who may not be the best fit long-term. HireLogic, for example, assesses key skills and pairs the job description with the context of the interview to gain a more well-rounded understanding of the candidate and how they stack up to the requirements of the role. 👉 Inconsistent or delayed feedback  After interviews, many hiring teams struggle with providing timely and consistent feedback. Candidates might be left waiting to hear back way longer than is ideal. With AI-generated reports and analysis, recruiters can more quickly access details and relay feedback. This allows for faster decision-making and reduces the time to hire along with improving the candidate experience.     AI can streamline the interview and hiring process, but what about the candidate experience? One of the major pitfalls of using AI in the hiring process is the risk of depersonalization. Here are some ways to strike a balance between the efficiency and data-driven decision-making that  AI offers and maintaining the human touch: 1️⃣ Use AI to enhance human connection, not replace it  AI does a great job of automating repetitive, tedious tasks - think interview notetaking, analyzing answers, and screening resumes. However, human interaction should remain at the core of the interview experience. With AI transcribing your interview notes for you, you can be more engaged in the interview and really connect with the candidate. 2️⃣ Be transparent with candidates  Candidates should know when AI is being used. By being transparent, you’re building trust and helping the candidate feel more comfortable. It’s better to be upfront, especially when you’re inviting an AI interview notetaker to the meeting. 3️⃣ Prioritize engagement  Similar to point 1, use interviews as an opportunity to showcase your company’s culture and your human side. Build rapport, actively listen, and generally be engaged. Candidates can tell when you’re not paying attention or going through a set of questions. With AI streamlining the admin work, you can focus more attention on candidate experience. Incorporating AI into your talent acquisition processes doesn’t mean losing the personal touch.
