This past February, Highline Warren had the honor of sponsoring the innovation session at the Women in Auto Care annual conference. Women representing Highline Warren brainstormed exciting ideas that led to the birth of an empowering new initiative – a dedicated women’s network within our company! The result? A powerful, impactful network designed to inspire and elevate women across Highline Warren! Our Women’s HighWay employee resource group is focused on empowering the women of Highline Warren, paving the way to growth and driving a culture of inclusivity. We’d like thank the Women’s HighWay leadership team for standing up this great resource for our teammates: Cassandra Tomac, Tiffany Floyd, Lisa Herbert, Maggie Tate, PMP, Katie Belew, Kristina Klos, Jessica Toliuszis, Colleen Wolf and Jonas Croft.
Innovation & Inclusivity are interwoven into our People * Powered * Performance slogan. This was a very special week for a team of volunteers who launched the first business resource group at Highline Warren - the #WomensHighway. I challenge those tagged and the entire volunteer committee to celebrate your wins by sharing and writing what you are most proud of during the 8 months leading up to the launch. From an Innovation Session at the 2024 Women in Auto Care Conference to the launch this week, a team of people and their allies have scaled mountains to organically build a network from grassroots to treetops to L-I-V-E. Gratitude goes to countless people companies who shared their visions, shared their lessons, and took their time to elevate us. We are especially lucky to have our very special guests Missy Goodpaster-Stephens and Kathleen Callahan who shared how everyone can get involved with Women in Auto Care

Amy and Anestis learned how to maximize their personal leadership power through the program, and we can't wait to see how they used what they learned at Highline Warren!

We are excited to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month! Highline Warren teammates Ruben Ortgea Jr. and Rebecca Arrona shared what this month means to them, how they celebrate and how everyone can support Hispanic culture. Ruben Ortega Jr. - director of inside sales. Born and raised in the Bronx, Ruben celebrates his Puerto Rican heritage every day through food, sports and music. He’s a passionate cook and loves to make arroz con habichuelas, chuletas, bistec, tostones and empanadas. He believes that National Hispanic Heritage Month allows him to celebrate his culture with others, and that “the things that set us apart are also the things that can bring us together.” Rebecca Arrona - operations office manager. She might be a Dallas, Texas native, but Rebecca’s cultural roots are firmly planted in Mexico. Rebecca also loves sharing her culture through food, and shares a warm meal and conversation with her mother-in-law daily. She advocates for more Hispanic voices to be represented in the workforce by encouraging opportunities and support to everyone. “When we take a chance on people, we find real talent in places we may have otherwise overlooked,” Rebecca shared. We’re proud to have Rebecca and Ruben on our team! Let us know how you’re celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month. #HispanicHeritageMonth #CompanyCulture #Collaboration #diversity
