The interview lasted eight minutes and had only two questions. Lisa provided four minutes worth of answers based on the questions asked.

Gary and I have been working on a LinkedIn profile refresh; we started with the banner image just to start building an identity. He considered various options, including quotes and stock photos, to attract hiring managers...but no one pays attention so, rather than settling for generic images, we decided to custom-design one. Drawing inspiration from Gary's interest in Dark Souls, I thought we could make a unique banner. The initial attempt, mirroring Dark Souls' aesthetic, was a start, though not quite right for professional purposes. We then incorporated his hobbies: woodworking, tinkering, and PC building. Using MidjourneyGPT on ChatGPT, we crafted a detailed prompt that resulted in a refined image, featuring Gary at his desk with a nod to Dark Souls in the artwork beside him. Finalizing the banner took just ten minutes, a task that didn't sidetrack Gary from his expertise in Access Control, Identity Access Management, and Python. My wife worked at a pizza shop in Temecula, CA, from when she was 14 until we had our first baby. A man named Isidro worked with her. He started when she was 16 and still works there. In Mexico, Isidro was an excellent electrician and loved it, but when he immigrated he couldn’t find a job as an electrician here in the US. Because of this, Isidro lost out on earning more money and growing in a career he had skills in, or even potentially starting his own business. The government also lost because they could have gotten more taxes from him if he earned more, but he has been at practically the same wage for the last 12 years. My mom came from another country and at time finds English difficult. My grandmother also immigrated to the US. She can speak English well, but can’t read or write it, so she could only work in a casino where she didn’t need to have those skills. It must be so challenging for people from other countries to find good jobs aligned with their skills because submitting an application does not come without anxiety and friction, let alone a language barrier.
