It’s Alaska Mining Day. Hecla employees Jason Hart, Chairman of the Juneau Branch of the Alaska Mining Association (AMA), and Kyle Bebee, an AMA board member, attended a breakfast with other members of the #mining industry to recognize and honor the individuals and industry that play an enormous role in the State of #Alaska. Hecla continues to be an industry leader in #safety. In 2023, our All-Injury Frequency Rate ("AIFR") of 1.45 is lower than the national average and mines at Greens Creek in Alaska and Lucky Friday in Idaho recorded their lowest AIFR of 0.29 and 0.66, respectively.
