We value the ambition of today’s youth, and we recognize that many of them do not have the opportunities and education they need to pursue a career in health and medicine. By bringing those students the resources and tools that they need to further their education in these fields, we will be able to fuel their passion and drive to learn and develop, both as individuals and as healthcare professionals. By joining HealthLoop you will learn the skills, have the tools, and take action to make a difference in people's lives. HealthLoop seeks to have a diverse set of ideas so we hope that you bring your personal experience to the fight for a better educational and healthy lifestyle. Anyone can get involved with HealthLoop! HealthLoop is working to educate students who have a hard time accessing proper educational resources and empower and encourage students to pursue their interdisciplinary interests with medicine and health, so no matter where you are you can get involved in HealthLoop. If you have a passion for educating underprivileged students then you are more than welcome to join the HealthLoop family. By joining any department as a member, you are expressing that you can adhere to a commitment of at least 1-3 hours a week, depending on your position. We strongly encourage all members to be committed for at least 6 months so they can have a significant takeaway from volunteering for HealthLoop. Members should notify their department executive at least one week before resigning. No one working for HealthLoop will receive monetary compensation for their time. It is for that reason that there are few requirements for HealthLoop members that help to ensure that you can be successful! This requirement also helps to ensure that there are multiple voices at the table so you can execute the most effective and inclusive actions!
