We cover: American Hospital Association's “We Care, We Vote" website A LinkedIn poll by Becker's Healthcare where they asked participants to pick one of three options that would best boost retention at their workplace. Indiana Hospital Association new statewide flexible staffing pool app, developed by Matchwell, to help its 170-plus member hospitals better grapple with persistent labor shortages. A clinic in California, called Millie, who is finding success with a maternal care model that relies heavily on midwives and doulas for low-risk and moderate-risk pregnancies. (Story via HealthLeaders) The Connecticut Student Loan Repayment Program that is offering up to $50,000 in student loan repayments to eligible healthcare providers. Our newest issue is out now! We dive into different #healthcare partnerships w/ high schools across the country. Here's a small snip it: "Enter Bloomberg Philanthropies, which recently unveiled a $250 million initiative to create 16 high schools with in-house, in-person, health-focused curriculum aimed at graduating students directly into high-demand healthcare jobs that pay enough to raise a family on. The schools are projected to open between late 2024 and late 2026 and will serve 6,000 students in total, the nonprofit said." Read the rest here: https://lnkd.in/gXEqV4gV
