    A few weeks ago we co-hosted our Founders in Health Tech Talk event in NYC alongside our friends at Redesign Health!     We had a great time co-hosting our Founders in Health Tech Talk event in NYC alongside Redesign Health! We had the privilege of being joined by an absolute rockstar founder and all around person, Toyin Ajayi (Co-Founder & CEO of Cityblock Health), for a sit down discussion on the topic of Building 0 to 1 and Beyond. Toyin reflected on the journey from building in the trenches during the early days of Cityblock to scaling the organization to 100,000 members to how the team is thinking about future growth. We covered tactical business topics including: 1️⃣ Key inflection points in Cityblock's success 2️⃣ Growth versus profitability tradeoffs 3️⃣ Best practices for signing first customer contracts 4️⃣ Keeping pace with an evolving company culture 5️⃣ Advice for founders building in a down market …As well as went beyond the day-to-day business dealings to reflect on broader life lessons learned while company building, such as: 6️⃣ Life as an early-stage founder 7️⃣ The evolving role of a CEO 8️⃣ Self-awareness and showing up as your best self And plenty more!     We recently attended the HealthNext Summit 2024: AI conference hosted at Cornell Tech and had the opportunity to listen in on several panel discussions to hear from leading experts sitting at the intersection of #AI and #healthcare. We were happy to see several members of the Health Tech Nerds community in attendance, getting to connect and learn from you all. For those who couldn’t attend, we wanted to share a recap of key takeaways from one of the panels titled, Investing in a Brave New World: The Generative AI Revolution and Beyond.
