Smith University - JCSU 2024 'Arch of Triumph Award' for her unwavering commitment to advancing HBCU communities and its leaders. As the former president of Bennett College, Dr. Dawkins played a pivotal role in advocating for HBCUs by spearheading a $1 billion dollar loan forgiveness for all HBCUs. We're honored to announce the receipt of a $225,000 grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, one of the largest philanthropic foundations in the country. The grant will empower HBCU ELI to enhance programs for the incoming 2024 Community of Fellows, expand program reach, and deepen its overall impact on executive leadership development within the HBCU community.
