Our students' success is built on the foundation of dedication and hard work from our team and supporters. As we look ahead toward our growing cohorts, we're eager to continue expanding our programs and support systems, ensuring even more students have the opportunity to succeed. Our increasing alumni network stands as a beacon of what’s possible when we invest in the potential of young people. #HarlemLacrosse #sbyd #student #athlete #community #empowerment #youthdevelopment #education #college #alumni
In the next 2 years, 250 Harlem Lacrosse participants will go off to college. Roughly the same number we sent in our first 15 years of existence. We are sitting on the precipice of really scaling the long-term impact of the organization. Building a pipeline of students of that size, and an organizational infrastructure to support their pathways to college, has taken a long time and a huge commitment from so many. But no one has done more to make this possible than New Balance and NEW BALANCE FOUNDATION. We're thrilled to be expanding our partnership over the next few years and unlocking even more potential for our organization, and growing alumni network.

With Week 2 of Summer Academy ahead of us, I wanted to look back on such an exciting and jam-packed Week 1 for Harlem Lacrosse Baltimore! Career Trips: I cannot thank our two Baltimore Advisory Board Members, Eric Borsoni of Morgan Stanley and Blake Sheehan of Brown Advisory enough for hosting two amazing career days! To provide our high school boys and girls with the opportunity to learn from two leading organizations in the financial advising industry is truly invaluable. This incredible experience offered so many insights into the financial sector, sparking new aspirations among our student-athletes. Strength and Conditioning: From Monday to Wednesday, our high school athletes participated in intensive strength and conditioning sessions. These sessions were designed to enhance physical fitness and prepare our students for the demands of high-level high school and college lacrosse. Their dedication and hard work are truly commendable! Summer League Games: The excitement continued into the evenings with summer league games for our varsity boys and girls. These games showcased remarkable talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship, setting a strong tone for what is to come in their upcoming school year! Our Summer Academy has granted our student-athletes the opportunity to do so much more than just play lacrosse. We can't wait to see what Week 2 has in store! Stay tuned for more exciting trips and opportunities.
