We hope you'll join us for our signature celebration, "Hands & Hearts Together" on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 5pm at the Hartford Marriott Downtown! Funds we raise from sponsorships, ticket sales, online and live auction and donations provide vital funding for our services to the low-income community. Our pantry is busier than ever, with more than 800 families a month turning to us for help. We receive dozens of calls every day from hard-working, low income, neighbors, and seniors, who need help with rising rents, utilities, and security deposits. And Gather55, our participation model restaurant (open to all regardless of ability to pay) hums with activity between our diners, volunteers, and the adjacent day program with health and recovery services, and activities like singing and bingo. Although there is a lot of need in our community, we see a lot of hope in the connections that are made here, which is why our theme this year is “Creating Connections, Changing Lives”. We’re celebrating the many ways we work together to create the connections that change lives in our community: connecting our neighbors to supportive housing, health and food programs; inspiring new friendships at Gather55; and connecting and collaborating with our partners. Your support makes all of this possible and will commemorate your commitment to strengthening the well-being of our Hartford community. The last chance you'll have to grab tickets to support our event is this Thursday, Sept. 14th. As a thank you for doing so, we'll enter your name into a drawing for a chance to win a $55 Gather55 gift card! You may purchase tickets and check out our online silent auction here: http://handson.cbo.io. Thank you for your support!
