We’re excited to spotlight one of our featured guests for this exclusive members-only event: Illinois State Senator Celina Villanueva of the 12th District! 🌟🏛️ Senator Villanueva has been a dedicated advocate for immigrant rights, voting access, and social justice. With her background as an organizer, she has consistently worked to expand civic engagement, especially in underrepresented communities. Among her key achievements are the expansion of voting rights through the Voting Rights Act and her support for vote-by-mail initiatives. She has also played a crucial role in passing the Illinois TRUST Act and the VOICES Act, which protect immigrant communities by limiting local law enforcement's involvement with ICE. Senator Villanueva’s passion for civic engagement and community advocacy will provide invaluable insights at this event as we discuss policies that directly impact small businesses and diverse communities. Don’t miss the chance to hear from her and other key policymakers! 🎤 https://lnkd.in/gvB36Zd8 For sponsorship opportunities, reach out to [email protected]
