Thank you Semonin Realtors for all that you do for Habitat Homebuyers!
Yesterday marked the sweetest event of the year! 🍰 Our annual Dessert Auction Fundraiser was a tremendous success, raising over $26k for our Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville Home Build. Huge gratitude to our wonderful auctioneer, Bob Andres, our talented bakers, and all who joined us! Together, we made a meaningful impact, and it’s surely sweet😋 #WhoYoureWithMatters #HabitatForHumanity #habitathomebuild

Despite the non-winter temperatures outside, we had the best time at our annual Chili Cook Off raising over $250 for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville! Congratulations to our chili winner, Miranda Sigler! 🌶️🏆

Thanks Jeremy!
Great things happen when organizations come together instead of operating in silos. Shout out to a couple incredible partners Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville, Dare to Care Food Bank, AARP and Legal Aid Society . This past Saturday we teamed up in the Parklands neighborhood at Dare to Care Food Bank Community Kitchen in West Louisville to provide some education to local homeowners. Topics included credit, identity theft, fraud, legal services and resources around preparing a will and trusts. Definitely one of the coolest things I’ve been a part of with a great turnout! What does HOME mean to you?
What does home mean to me? It's a place where my two girls can feel safe, play, learn, and imagine. More than 1.1 billion people around the world live in slums and informal settlements. They often lack secure land and property rights, face the greatest threats from climate change, and struggle without consistent access to water, sanitation, and electricity. Communities -- made up of parents like me -- know what they need and are often already doing the work, but barriers remain. Governments must work with communities and turn their ideas into action. For #UrbanOctober, will you join me in raising up the importance of housing and share what #HomeEquals to you? Together, we can build a future where everyone has a decent place to live. https://lnkd.in/gJ_zK4uZ
