The Alliance is pleased to be working with Martin James Foundation, Child Frontiers and Child's i Foundation to implement this critical project, which aims to learn directly from children, families and carers in order to improve the capacity of the social service workforce to implement family-based care. Stay tuned for more learning from the project soon!
We are thrilled to share that we have kick started the implementation of the Strengthening the social service workforce for family care project. For the last couple of weeks, our dedicated research team has been collecting data from 20 children that have been reintegrated and 19 young care leavers. This data will ultimately contribute to the development of tools that will contribute towards making a difference in the field of family based care. This project is a care-experienced led initiative aimed at amplifying the invaluable knowledge and lived experiences of youth and children who have been in care, their families, and social service workers. We look forward to sharing our findings with you in future. #ChildsiFoundation #CareLeavers #Youth #Families
