Did you know that Groundswell Fund has a 501(c)(4) sibling organization, Groundswell Action Fund? 🌟 We believe that building a multiracial, feminist democracy requires investment beyond a 501(c)(3) strategy. Support of multi-entity organizing allows for communities to participate in decision-making that affects their lives at local, regional, and state levels.🤝 #GrassrootOrgs #ActionFunds #C4 #C3

It's the 30th anniversary of the term 'Reproductive Justice'! ✨ Coined by Women of African Descent for Reproductive Justice in June 1994, the term is rooted in the Combahee River Collective and Black feminism of the 1970s. RJ mixes social justice with reproductive health, addressing the broader issues faced by women of color, women from low-income communities, and transgender and gender-expansive people. #ReproductiveJustice #RJMovement #RJEducation

As part of our commitment to rest, we'll be closing the office for a week from 7/1 to 7/5. Inspired by The Nap Ministry and its founder Tricia Hersey, we push back against the white supremacist capitalist belief of productivity at all costs. Rest is a form of resistance, and we're proud to incorporate this into our work culture. 💪🏽✨ #RestIsResistance #NapMinistry #CommunityCare
