Last Friday, members of the GROTH Design Group team (insanely talented members!) participated in IIDA Wisconsin's EVOKE 2024. Benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Wisconsin, this year’s event focused on the theme “Evoke the Future,” and challenged designer and creative minds to team up with industry-manufacturers and uniquely transform common finish materials and products into celebrated fashion. Designs were centered around what the future would look like from the perspective of children. The GDG team, “Penta Flora,” delivered an award-winning piece – accepting the Honorable Mention for their design best representing the Evoke theme category. They’ve worked hard and had fun creating a futuristic headpiece focused on the relationship between nature and technology as we advance through the years. We had a great turnout for the groundbreaking at St. Paul Lutheran Church & School in Muskego, WI. So much excitement was shared as the team officially kicked off the project. A 20,000 sf addition to the church and a 5,800 sf addition to the school will provide the much-needed space for worship and enrollment growth. #listenleadserve #wearegdg #servingthosewhoserveothers

Our firm announced today a transition of ownership from Founder Mike Groth, AIA, NCARB, to Partners Peter Schneider, AIA, LEED AP; Mike McGraw, AIA, CSI, CDT; and Peter Damsgaard. Under Groth’s visionary leadership, GDG has flourished, expanding to nearly 40 professionals across three offices in Cedarburg, Milwaukee and Appleton, Wis.
