Dear LinkedIn followers, I am once again spinning up efforts in building GreenTool and Greenest Inc. as a company. I haven't exactly been the model Executive Director in the past two years, with the invasion of Ukraine taking up most of our founding team's mental and physical bandwidth.
This and other challenges further illustrate the importance of building a robust, culturally and geographically-diverse executive team, and management board. It has also given me a chance to take a step back and review our efforts, as Greenest Inc. officially completes its 7th year of operations!
Life, conflict, and avoidable pollution continues, and so must we. I simply cannot rest until the world has a global, accurate, and universally affordable system for personal pollution management. Detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual Progress Reports with juicy stats and figures starting January!
I am aiming for "an over-night success after 10 years".
Quick recap of the past 7 years:
- 2016 From napkin drawings to Articles of Incorporation.
- 2017 CTO Cofounder joins.
- 2018 https://lnkd.in/g_EZDXpE is launched. First Junior Executive volunteer joins (6 months).
- 2019 Greenest Inc. officially becomes a 501(c)3 Non-Profit. 5 Programming volunteers join (3mo-2years).
- 2020 HR operations begin, and 15 remote Environmental Researcher and Environmental Analyst volunteers begin to use the portal system. Additionally, Business Analyst, Data Science, Finance, and Information Security departments are created and staffed with remote University program interns from 3-6 months each.
-2021 a core team of 5 focuses on Portal user feedback implementation and initiates the workflows and development of the environmental solution scoring engine.
-2022 nearly all operations paused once remaining internship positions are successfully completed. Founder focus shifts 99% to supporting family and friends in Ukraine.
-2023 Stas continues to pay out of pocket, to keep the company alive enough to defend Greentool(TM) and Be Your Greenest(TM) servicemarks, and hires an external web development consultant to build www.greentool.org. the link below was accomplished for roughly $3,000 USD. It is a prototype.
Prior to that, and thanks to our amazing volunteers, we have been able to generate roughly $450,000 worth of business and software development efforts, as can be seen in the development of portal.greentool.org and our 100% remote volunteer workflow infrastructure.
I will not leave this value on the table.
I will not stop 3 feet from gold.
I am seeking directors (remote, custom-schedule volunteers) who are either experienced or wish to prove themselves via our company, within Finance, STEM, Software Engineering, HR, Business Development, and Marketing.
Alternatively, please consider making a tax-deductible, corporate or individual donation via https://lnkd.in/gz-bmMhS
to expedite software development.
Please feel free to ask any and all questions in the meantime.
