Today, we congratulate and celebrate our newest officer John Anderson, and his graduation from the Fox Valley Technical College 720-hour Police Recruit Academy on Friday, December 15, 2023. Officer Anderson was his academy’s class president and at graduation, he was awarded FVTC’s prestigious “Officer Craig Birkholz Leadership Award”, given to him by his classmates. The award is given to those recruits who are team players, thoughtful, display positive attitude, quiet/caring, highly motivated, and a goal setter. The Green Bay Police Department is proud to have Officer Anderson, a veteran of the U.S. Army, represent the agency and community in such an honorable light.
