  • Just a few more days to get your spot in the Fall SHRM certification session! Deadline to register is Friday, August 23rd. Not sure if the study group is right for you? Hear what past participants had to say about their experiences: “I wanted to achieve my SHRM-CP to achieve a more well-rounded knowledge of HR. I’ve been working in HR and have done college coursework towards HR but I felt that the SHRM-CP would give me the additional knowledge I was seeking. There is a LOT of material to get through, but having the study group keeps you accountable and hearing the other members talk about their experiences really helped me apply what we were learning to real life. It also taught me to “Think like SHRM”. I truly believe I would not have been able to get my SHRM-CP without my study group. “ Don't wait, register today! • Did you know you can earn the SHRM Foundation’s Employing Abilities at Work Certificate at no-cost? This education aims to educate human resource professionals, people managers and business leaders about the benefits of providing a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace for individuals with disabilities. You will also earn 10 professional development credits toward your SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification! According to the Center for Disease Control, disability inclusion means understanding the relationship between the way people function and how they participate in society (and at work) and making sure everybody has the same opportunities to participate in every aspect of life to the best of their abilities and desires. This can be challenging because, as noted by Wendi Safstrom, president of the SHRM Foundation, "nearly 80 percent of disabilities are invisible.” Let’s continue to expand our knowledge on this important topic! Visit https://lnkd.in/d6X_QQp6 for more details!
