We ❤️sharing the energy industry with young people! On Friday, we hosted 11th and 12th grade environmental studies students from St. Paul Academy at our Cambridge Energy Center. The students toured the plant and learned about Great River Energy, the transmission system, and the operation and importance of peaking plants. #PowerfulPotential #EnergyCareers

The group of 45 high school students learned about various electrical technician roles at Great River Energy, toured the Elk River Substation, performed hands on substation apparatus activities and rode in a bucket truck. #CareersInEnergyWeek #FutureWorkforce
