It's with a heart full of gratitude that I announce my departure from ECMC Foundation. After five incredible years as Vice President of Programs and Strategy, it's time for me to embark on a new chapter. Reflecting on my journey, I am immensely proud of the work we've done. Together, we've driven systemic change and deepened the impact of our grantmaking, supporting underserved learners in their postsecondary pursuits. I cherish every relationship built and every project that pushed us toward excellence. As I move forward, I carry the inspiring moments shared with this remarkable team, ECMC Group and the incredible partners I met along the way. Thank you, ECMC Foundation, for the opportunity to serve, grow and contribute to a mission that's close to my heart. Here's to new beginnings and continued success! https://lnkd.in/g7ZWvx5E

We invite you to join grantmaking colleagues this summer for a study tour focused on education and equity in the American South. The event will take place in Montgomery, Alabama July 24-26, at The Legacy Sites - a memorial, a museum and a monument – that powerfully document the history and impact of racial injustice in the United States. The visit will include a bus tour to the Edmund Pettis bridge and guest speakers to offer insight and reflection. The event promises to be a moving experience, an opportunity to confront injustice, as well as to honor those who paved the way forward. I expect that participants will come away with newfound meaning and courage to address the important work ahead of us in education philanthropy. You can learn more about the program and register here: https://lnkd.in/gMVQVWQa. Registration closes July 12.
