We are continuing to expand our knowledge as an erector of mass timber, showcasing our expertise in the ongoing construction of a distinctive structure in Sunnyvale, CA. This multi-faceted project includes an office building, fitness center, and events space. Elevated, in collaboration with Grad Concept USA and Woodhaven, executed the installation of the design-build wood siding and soffit scope as part of our carpentry package. Notably, the unique siding employs a sophisticated tongue-and-groove system, along with a Grad Rail clip-in mechanism for securing the wood siding. The game changer is here Who knew what a single meeting that took place over two years ago in a small town north of Houston could open to? When you see an opportunity, just go for it. Yesterday, our #family got bigger as teams from Gipi Italy, Grad® France, Grad Concept USA and Overseas Hardwoods Company united to welcome the first grad profiling machine at their premises in Lufkin, TX! The first of its kind on the entire American continent. The machine is able to cut perfect grooves into different wood species, even bamboo, at a max speed of 180lf/min, whether using narrow 2''-8'' boards (nominal). Once boards are grooved, they can be easily fitted on the clips of the Grad® rails to build #siding #soffit #decking and more. Overseas Hardwoods Company is now an official partner and national distributor of the grad rail systems. Thanks to BURGER & CIE's and Kebony 's support, Francesco and Amleto Diana's essential involvement in making this work, and the management teams at Overseas Hardwoods Company for taking this ride with us.
