The grand opening for the new Career Resource Center on Thursday, September 19th was a huge success! Through the power of Goodwill, individuals will achieve their career goals through education, training, and job placement. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate this milestone! At 13,000 square feet, this is Goodwill Industries - Big Bend, Inc.'s largest Career Resource Center, housing multiple computer labs and classrooms, six employee/partner cubicles and a room dedicated to Goodwill’s Certified Nursing Assistant program. Training programs for construction, digital tech, bookkeeping and other careers will also be offered on-site. A special thank you to Florida Power & Light for their $10,000 grant which will further support Goodwill's mission of equipping individuals with the necessary skills to succeed in today’s job market.
