We recently celebrated Take Your Kids to Work Day by welcoming our team members' children to the GoldenTree offices in New York. It was an opportunity to share our passion for what we do with the next generation of innovators and leaders. Seeing their enthusiasm and curiosity was truly rewarding for all! 

GoldenTree’s investment team came together to attend the London Baseball Series featuring the Mets vs. Phillies in early June. It was a memorable event, and a great opportunity for our team to connect outside of the office. Our commitment to building and maintaining strong relationships across the firm remains a cornerstone of our culture.

GoldenTree Asset Management recently had the pleasure of attending the Bank of America Emerging Markets Debt & Equity Conference in Miami.   Partner & Portfolio Manager Vlad Liberzon, was a panelist on “Türkiye: too good, too fast, too tight?,” where he shared our perspectives on Turkey's economic trajectory and investment opportunities in certain corporate and financial issuers, as well as local government bonds.   Senior Research Analyst Sean Viscount also joined the panel “New Players in EM Oil & Gas – Can they make a difference?” Sean highlighted opportunities in select EM independent oil and gas companies with compelling yield profile, asset quality, and fundamental catalysts to unlock value.   Thank you to Bank of America for inviting GoldenTree to join in the discussions.

GoldenTree was proud to serve as the title sponsor of the Citymeals on Wheels 37th Annual Chef’s Tribute Event on June 10th. Through our collective efforts, we raised enough funds to provide 90,000 meals for homebound seniors in New York City. The event highlighted the strength of our community and the positive change we can make when we come together to support those in need. We are excited to extend a warm welcome to our incoming Summer 2024 intern class. From June through August, we will have 20 interns across 8 departments, working on different projects that will provide thoughtful challenges and opportunities to enhance their career growth. We look forward to the valuable contributions and new perspectives each intern will bring to GoldenTree!

GoldenTree Asset Management recently welcomed new colleagues and connected them with tenured mentors during an outing hosted at The Juilliard School. Acclaimed Juilliard conducting faculty member Mark Shapiro led an interactive demonstration with a string ensemble of current Juilliard students. He highlighted applicable lessons from the world of top-tier musicianship to that of investing and business, including the power of directing focus, the integral contributions of each individual, and inspiration through dynamic collaboration. We are proud to have participated in the pilot Leadership Development workshop of Juilliard Extension’s Professional Development program, Juilliard at Work. A special thanks to Juilliard’s John-Morgan Bush, Mark Shapiro, and Alexander Jackson for their insights, and a warm welcome to our newest members of the GoldenTree team.
