NVIDIA, Intel Corporation, and many others leading the charge in #AI & #HPC have announced next-gen chips dissipating well over 1kW. Our leading cold plate technology is designed to cool the current and future of next-gen chips, efficiently dissipating 1-3kW with a minimal 3-5psi pressure drop. This keeps junction temperatures well within operational thresholds with room for chips to work even harder. Here’s how you can benefit from this enhanced energy budget: 1️⃣ Increased System Power: Boost your chips' power input, reduce the size of heat-rejection systems, and achieve tighter packaging with superior heat transfer efficiency of our microchannel liquid cooling. 2️⃣ Lower Temperature Spikes: Minimize thermal resistance with our cold plate technology, enabling your system to handle greater power spikes without increasing cold plate mass. 3️⃣ Higher Coolant Inlet Temperatures: Efficient power transfer allows coolant inlet temperatures to be closer to the component’s maximum within our cold plates, saving energy. 4️⃣ Hot-Spot Mitigation: Work with our engineers to customize flow channels according to your system’s power map, effectively eliminating hot spots and surface temperature gradients. 5️⃣ Increased System Reliability: Achieve lower junction temperatures at the same flow rate, extending the lifetime and reliability of your chip and other critical system components. Push the previous operational boundaries of what's possible in your high-power applications with Mikros Technologies. #datacenter #liquidcooling #coldplate #morepowertoyou

Don Falkowski has been with Mikros Technologies from its earliest beginnings, working side by side with our founder, Javier Valenzuela at Creare participating in the SBIR projects that led to the founding of Mikros. Don has always demonstrated a commitment to the company, incredible attention to detail and steadfast work ethic. In Mikros’ early beginnings, Don would sometimes begin work for Mikros at 4am in the morning. His reliability and accuracy always balanced with a light-hearted sense of humor have been a familiar and leading presence at Mikros for the last 3 decades.  In Don’s time at Mikros, he headed up the electronics and thermal labs and in the course of his employment often took on temporary roles such as Safety Manager and even HR Coordination. Don will be moving out to Oregon to be with family and continue his love of skiing. His ski pass has already been purchased! The first of his adventures will include skiing in July at Mt. Hood. Thank you Don for your dedication, service, and leadership for 30 years at Mikros! Congratulations on retirement and cheers to your next adventure!

In the cooling industry, we see the word "microchannel” used widely these days, but it doesn’t tell the whole thermal performance story. At Mikros, "microchannel" means much more than fins that are hundreds of microns apart. In fact, our cold plates don't have fins at all. Our normal flow microchannel cooling designs optimize heat transfer effectiveness, provide uniform cooling, low pressure drop, and the ability to tailor flow to varied power maps for SOCs. Instead of flowing coolant across the active surface picking up heat as it goes, our normal flow technology flows perpendicular to the surface, then exits 180 degrees to an outlet manifold. Not only will the uniformity of our coolant distribution increase your chip lifetime, but we can also change the uniformity based on your power map to ensure every component or chiplet is receiving only coolant flow it needs. For over 30 years at Mikros, "microchannel" has meant industry-leading thermal ingenuity, designing unique solutions with the highest cooling effectiveness and customized options for greater chip performance and data center sustainability. How can we help solve your next thermal management challenge? #morepowertoyou
